Pultrusion resin is a specialized type of resin used in the pultrusion process, which is a continuous manufacturing method for producing fiber-reinforced composite profiles with constant cross-sections. Pultrusion resin can be a thermosetting polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resin that is impregnated into continuous fibers, such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, or aramid, and then pulled through a heated die. The resin cures and hardens as it passes through the die, resulting in a strong, lightweight,and durable composite profile. Pultrusion resin offers excellent wetting properties, ensuring complete impregnation of the fibers and optimal mechanical properties in the final product.
